How Does SugarReset Work?
SugarReset's ingredients carry different levels of evidence, from moderate (chromium, gymnema) to insufficient (maca).
Not every ingredient here is backed the same way — we grade each honestly.
Six roles, one proactive-support goal
SugarReset's confirmed ingredients target insulin-relevant mineral support, sugar craving management, and antioxidant protection together.
The strongest evidence: chromium and gymnema
Chromium helps regulate how your body uses glucose, with clinical studies typically using 200mcg or higher. Gymnema is traditionally used to help reduce sugar cravings and support pancreatic function, with clinical trials typically using 400-1,000mg daily. See our piece on the proprietary blend problem, explained for why SugarReset's own doses aren't confirmed at these levels.
Moderate evidence: green tea and panax ginseng
Green Tea's catechins provide antioxidant benefits alongside modest glucose support, though it also contributes caffeine. Panax Ginseng may help lower fasting glucose and improve insulin sensitivity, with clinical doses ranging 1-9g daily.
Weaker evidence: african mango and maca
African Mango offers preliminary support for metabolic signaling, but blood-sugar-specific human trials are sparse. Maca is included more for general wellness than proven glucose management.
